Kartell Planet table lamp with dimmer was designed by Tokujin Yoshioka in 2016. The Planet light range was his first lighting project for Kartell, Italy. The Planet faceted light diffuser creates a sparkling illuminance. This is achieved by having a sphere that feeds on refraction, with a series of complex surfaces and reflections. Both the dimming and on/off lighting controls are operated without any switches and just from tapping the touch sensitive base. Planet table lamp comes in three finishes: smoke/black, yellow/gold, transparent/chrome.
